It’s official. One of the continent’s most prestigious honors for young leaders is coming to South Africa. The Africa’s Under 40 CEOs Awards & Summit will take place from June 26th to June 30th, 2025, at the iconic NH Sandton Hotel in Johannesburg—and it’s making history on South African soil.
This isn’t just another awards ceremony. This is the gathering of Africa’s most dynamic under-40 business trailblazers. It’s a bold, unapologetic celebration of the people who are shifting the narrative of African leadership—not in boardrooms alone, but across innovation, philanthropy, social impact, and enterprise.
Founded by Mayorkings Charity Foundation, the initiative honors young African CEOs who exemplify excellence, growth, community service, and commitment to the development of the continent. These individuals don’t just run companies—they build legacies, disrupt industries, and inspire futures.
This year’s theme, “The Africa We Want: Collaboration Over Competition for a Sustainable Societal Advancement,” couldn’t be more fitting. The 2025 edition of the summit will feature powerful conversations on building a stronger, more unified Africa—one that prioritizes sustainable development, social impact, and long-term prosperity. As a South African and a 2025 honoree, I am deeply humbled to stand alongside phenomenal changemakers from across the continent—visionaries whose work speaks volumes before they ever say a word. To be recognized at home, with the continent watching, is a moment of profound pride and purpose.
But the summit is more than recognition. It’s also a gathering of minds—a fusion of ideas, perspectives, and possibilities.
